Wearing panties with an open bottom girdle

- I can convince my wife to wear stockings and garterbelts on special occasions and recently bought her a Rago bodyshaper OBG. She tried it on before we attended a wedding in Chicago, last weekend and had me help her fasten the rear straps, which was a delight. Then she had to go to the john and was putt off the OBG mbecause she had to remove the nylons and then remove her panties and then go through the whole restrap procss. She went back to her regular garterbelt with the panties over. My question is: Is there a proper way to wear panties with a OBG?

- Well, if your wife is adventurous, I would say dispense with the panties!

There are two schools of thought on this, I think. If you're in the US, you wear your undies under. I have been told that in the UK, undies go over in order to avoid said issue. To me that would ruin one's undies by stretching them out. I did try the undies over the garterbelt too, and it felt horribly uncomfortable.

I have been wearing OBGs exclusively for almost a year now, and have gotten really good at unfastening and re fastening. With the right length stockings, it should take no longer than with a garterbelt. I just roll it up, do what needs to be done and roll it back down again. Beats the hell out of fighting with pantyhose!

Your stockings should be purchased with the understanding that it is their job to pull the girdle down, not the girdle holding up the stockings. That tension is crucial. I hope this answers your question.

- With suspender belts, i.e. the normal four-strap variety that I wear, it is the other way around. The straps are positioned to a "comfortable" and natural position and they then keep the stockings in position, provided that these are long enough. I have never worn OBGs but there is presumably a lot more "force" there to actually pull the stockings up, whilst suspender belts should hold them in place. It is a matter of personal preference, for me the four-strap belts work fine, and I wear them under the panties.

- Normally I wear pantygirdles or all in ones For my open bottoms I wear a full panty with a hook and eye closure under the girdle. Most open bottoms are to long for wearing the panty over the girdle. If you want to do it that way try spacious French knickers.
