My wife has worn stockings periodically in the past and more recently is starting to wear them more often. Because of that I have purchased her more suspender belts to try etc etc. Can someone give me some reasons why they prefer a 6 strap belt to a 4 strap belt? Also, does a 100% nylon ff stocking vs a stretch stocking have anything to do with it?
One more question.....if the rear strap buckle (on a six strap belt) is leaving an imprint in her skin and is irritating, is that because its cinched up too much or does the strap need to be positioned farther toward the outer part of her leg? Thank you

Hi,
nice to hear she's starting to like the whole thing.
I find 6 straps to be more supportive for classic non-stretch stockings (RHT and FFN) as they prevent the stockings from turning about the leg more than a 4 strap. 2 more straps simply give more suspending power and keep the stocking nice and smooth on the leg.
As for the imprint she might have a slight allergic reaction to the metal. Clasping it into the welt a bit further out on the leg may alleviate the problem as she doesn't sit as much on the clasp any more.
Hope I could be of some help.
