Very Happy Any stockings, or even no stockings can lead to sex, but tights definitely do delay proceedings; only slightly though! Seams certainly have the edge.

I may not be in the most receptive mood for 'jokes' this morning, but I have to say I find this 'equation' sweeping, unjustifiable and quite possibly offensive to many who wear seamed stockings - they are not the equivalent of a 'For Sale or Hire' notice, but elegant and beautiful leg-wear.

It also seems to be a strong disincentive to wear seamed stockings to the vast number who do not.

Just my thoughts...

There is no more connection between seamed stockings and sex as there is between drinking coffee and driving a bus.

For me seamed stockings definitely make me think about sex. But that's just me (and some others). Stockings, tights/pantyhose, and all things hosiery get me going. Put a nude or topless female in front of me and it's not going to be as interesting.

One of my friends really thinks about sex when listening to Tricky's "Christian Sands" although that song does nothing for me.

A lot of people think of exposed breast cleavage with sex.

Lots of things can be associated with sex. Hopefully that won't discourage people from wearing what they choose, or we would all be on nude beaches or all wearing metal robot costumes, looking like C3P0 or the robot on Lost in Space.

Good point, although it has been well cussed and discussed in the past.
Quite simply, seamed stockings DO NOT equate to sex. However, some small-minded women do seem to think that anyone who wears stockings is making a suggestion about their sexuality. Folk like Russel Brand don't help the cause too much, making comments on national TV about Lorraine Kelly being a slut because she wears stockings.
My wife wears sexy undies and stockings and we have received comments from other men we know, things like..."my wife wore stockings only once for me, for my birthday, you lucky bug**r"

It's sad that too many women make absolutely no effort to look like women.

Maybe if it were read as a question rather than a statement it might sound better?
I assume it's been stated so as to kick off a discussion; in agreement or dis-agreement?
Looked at that way it would be interesting to see what thoughts, feelings and opinions make people say yes or no.
There can't be a right and wrong answer as the responses will be different as they are based on different peoples opinions, desires etc.
Surely no one need get upset about the topic if taken in context?
Just a thought....

Ah well, men don't make much effort either, so therefore why should women?

Seamed stockings CAN equal sex but only in the small minds of those who wish to associate them with such. Some of the blame must lie with pornography and its constant referencing to women who wear stockings and little else in the pursuit of sexual activities. Therefore, to the modern female mind, seamed stockings (or indeed any other kind) WILL be associated with possibly increased sexual activity.

Depends on whether you think increased sexual activity is a BAD THING or not!
