Out of curiosity I would like to know who in our community paints their nails.
I was suffering from a problem with my fingernails ripping and my partner suggested I use a "Brilliante" I guess that's a gloss in English to strengthen them. Hardly anyone has noticed and it works brilliantly

I have a problem with my nails and bought Sally Hanson Hard as Nails. It had a clear finish and nobody said a word. I subsequently bought a replacement bottle but by mistake I bought her Beige Frost which definitely is coloured. When my wife commented on my nails I explained the mix up but that I liked the result. I then got bold and asked her if she liked it too. Her reply was yes. So I have continued to wear it since then. I now see that SH has a range of different colours and I can't wait to experiment.

I used to paint my toenails using cheap NYC Color ($0.99 at Walgreen's), but then one day my wife decided that it was too freaky. But my Pilates instructor definitely got a kick out of it.
Generally speaking most people are too self-centered to notice other people's fingernail colors unless it's a blatant non-"flesh" color, and then they might notice a shade of red or green or whatever else.

I regularly do my nails but had my big toenails removed several years ago when they were found to be ingrowing... although (and sorry to put anyone off their dinner here) bits of nail do tend to re-grow in the nailbed from time to time. I long to have a full set of bright red toenails - can anyone suggest where I can obtain false nails which I could paint and cover my scabby big toes with?!

I have painted my toe nails from time to time. It depends on my wifes mood if she's into it or not. I had painted then orange once and was wearing a pair of her panties. She found out and at that time it turned her on so much we sent the kids to the store and made love !!!! Other times she thinks it's weird. I think its the colour.

I love to paint my toe nails especially if wearing strappy sandals. I wear false nails on fingers and paint them to match if I am dressing for an occassion.

I have also problems with my nails. I'm using clear nails
hardener polish, but only my hands nails. Sometime I use red
on my feet nails, only free time not at work.

I couldn't bear not to have well manicured nails with a nice clear top coat on them. My local beauty salon is happy to do mine.

I had acrylics and gel false nails done in the past and love keeping my now recovered natural nails in top condition.
I use Nailtiques proteins and find they work best on my nails. I think you should use whatever suits your nails, and if you want to keep a natural colour or any other colour for that matter then go ahead.
Mine are a bright red now and have been for the whole weekend.

Yesterday I had my regular manicure and pedicure at my local salon.
Usually I don't have them painted (wife not keen) but when she is away, I have them coloured.
Yesterday I selected a mid-blue. On previous occasions, I've been there at a time when I was on my own, but yesterday the salon was full, so I almost bottled out of the colour. But I decided to go for it, and no one took any (obvious) notice of this guy having his nails painted - not even the boyfriend watching his girlfriend having a set of acrylics fitted.
Just like the other day when I went shopping with my seamed stockings and six strap belt on under my trousers. I was the only one who knew - though by my nervousness you would think I had forgotten my trousers!

Yes I do paint my nails, not as often as I would like to. If I have a few days on my own I usually paint my fingernails, pale pink, sometimes red or even black. I think that toe nails should be painted if you are wearing strappy shoes. OPI nail envy is very good for strengthening your nails and they do seem to grow quicker, it's not cheap but worth the extra cost, also good for using as a clear top coat.

My nails well toe nails ae always done the wifw paints mine all time i also wear clear on my figers at weekends i love when i walk around the house with my stocking feet and can see my toes in pink or red varnish i .
Ilove to wear thongs ff nylons bras girdles and skirt and blouse to wife loves this it was her tha got me started ow cant stop.

My wife bought a new shade of orange today. I'll sneek off and paint my toes tomorrow while she's out and surprise her. She should be cool with it, being that I have a thing for orange !! I'll be sure to take a photo or two !!

did used to do my nails. with help from wife then g/f... often when we went out for a night or off to a festival.. even for the bedroom.... is it very sexy, especially when painted red or black.

I agree, painted nails are a big plus in the bedroom, especially black. I recently bought some high gloss black nail polish and it is now one of my favourites.

 YES,I do.My bride gives me a gift pedicure a few times a year and has asked the gal to 'color his toes".I do get manicures and they now have a 'matt finish in clear" and unless you are attentive of peoples hands, you can's reallytell if someone has nail polish on.As I work in construction, this helps keep my nails form getting dirty & scruffy looking.Sometimes on a 3 day weekend, my bride willl share a hot tub with me and after she will paint my toenails and do my fingernails as a prelude to my "softer side' of our fun weekend.I am very fortunate to have a supportive & encouraging partner.Roger in Beaverton,OR.,U.S.A.

took of nail polish the day as wife getting new colour for me 2 wear and alsosaid when she comes home i better wear the thong and seemed nylons that are on the bed s of today she said there will be no more wearing boxer shorts only thongs and girdles and girl shorts and my fingers will be painted 2 with clear polish come on lets chat xxx

I to like to have my toe nails done by wife or the local beauty shop they look great with stockings and strappy shoes on and I think the wife gets a kick out of doing them.
Wearing Russian navy with a small diamond on each big toe looks great.

going for a manacure 2 day wife told me be at the salon dressed inn my pink thong with black lace and matching bra and nylons and she says getting my toes done as well so leave the pink polish on that she wants peolpe 2 see me in my pink wat u girls wearing to day and is wife or g/f ok with the fact you wear nal polish xxxx

I painted my nails prior to going on holiday in Spain. When my wife found out she was a little annoyed to start as the first time she saw was when we were on the beach. Since then though she has painted both my toe and finger nails in Perfect Rhubarb and we have gone to the beach with them on show, were I was spotted by a friend (she) who thought it was really sexy.

My wife does my toe nails occassionaly. In the past they have been all colours. She's very good at pedicures and my nails always are in tip top shape.
The last time i had them done, i forgot we we're having a massage that night and it wasnt until the girl phoned to confirm that i realised i still had my nails painted. I had to quickly remove the nail varnish before she arrived. My wife was still at work and wasnt able to help me. She did find it rather amusing though. Dont think the girl noticed, or if she did then she didnt say anything.

My daughter paints mine Seriously, one day she said "Dad, can I paint your toe nails? my school friend paints her dads toe nails". How could I refuse  I'm not sure wifey likes it but if it keeps our daughter happy, who cares, no-one can see 'em.

Crazy! We've had a kinky time recently and my wife took pleasure in trying her new make-up on me yesterday. I hate to say it, but it wasn't a good experience. I quite like the kinkiness of it and I couldn't care less if anyone else saw it, but the thought of a mascara??? brush going anywhere near my precious eyes is enough to put me off.
Next for me is a back waxing and whatever else my wife plans as a charity fundraiser.

Have you tried Sally Hansen's pink coloured age corrector? Also Sally Hansen's silver bottled Diamond Hardener is very good. I have the same problem as you and a couple of coats of that, plus Opi's start to finish base coat and top coat usually does the trick.
I wouldn't use a hardener on your toe nails. My experience is that they are as hard as they can be.

Just got back from Spain, I had shocking pink toenails for the whole 2 weeks and fingernails done in same when I wasn't working(painting villa). Sat on the beach in pink flip flops and unisex bikini bottoms and let the world see me as they walked by. It was such a rush!

one woman commented and says it was nice that a man could express his fem side with out worring we spoke for a bit and she was talking to wife about it where she then said the wife that is that i dressed 24/7 in lingere as well and showed the woman top of my thong and bra what about you anyone with an experince th would like to share

nails are getting painted again tonight had to take off the paint took a dizzy turn at work and spent 30 min in ambulance thought i had to go to hospital so took off the paint  explain that to the family wife loves it though so who cares what others think as long as my son doesnt see it

how old is your dauhter that does your nails and whos wife likes it mine does today am wearing bright red nails and clear on my finer nails als wife got me a new girdle as well cant wait to wear it she says its for fathers day went out with no socks and shows on sunday to wash the car lady from across the road came over for chat
seen i hade no socks on and comented on my nailsshe liked them and said it was cute xxx

i use a clear coat for some days.......if you want really nice try Boots no7 Taffeta.......it changes from pink to yellow in different light....like light browns as well. just remember to file your nails keep them tidy.

i do. lately i've mostly been wearing clear varnish for my finger nails and i think many don't relise that they are seeing varnish on my fingers, except maybe if the sunlight catches them. Keep it on for many days, during work too Until it chips up too much, then off it comes and then some more back on after my nails have a day off.
I have worn black, very dark purple and a subtle pink on my fingers out in public, but not at work though. Naturally, my toe nails have been done in many different pretty shades, as mostly public eyes never seen them!
Question for anyone here, is silver or whitey silver an "OK" colour for males to wear on their fingers in public/work? ..what i mean, is it considered particular feminine, like red or pink is. To me it looks really nice, and i've love to wear it regularly in life, but worried if it could get me in bother

You can get a type of nail coating from the doctor if you have slightly brittle nails. Perhaps that could be used as a excuse if a work colleague spots your glossy nails

reading the posts i start to lokk at the idea, but i cannot even propose to my wife, must wait for some time when i will be on my own for a while, i will let You know when it happens. i am not sure about the colour, red or pink are nice but maybe better to satrt with something different.
