The government seems to be able to ban what it likes at the moment without asking the public
So its probably not that hard
All you need to do is to convince a portion of mps and they will put it through regardless even if it means breaking the law and overturning the house of lords who may vote against it

Still seems a bit sad, in a way. I always prefer to see a lady's legs in nylon, even if that nylon is is the form of tights - sorry to sound like a heretic - it's just the way I am  !

I love shopping for stockings,but the choice you get with tights is endless and i keep loosing single stockings-must have a thief lurking.

Love sheer tights or as we say here in the states Pantyhose. Just love them. I also like the look of an opaque tight, not as a turn on but as a winter fashion accessory.

Well, I WAS wearing tights up until about 2pm this afternoon, but every time I was sitting down in the office, I had a rip, which became a tear which became a big hole which became so damn uncomfortable, they were practically torn off and a pair of higher up stockings put on.

There's a seperation between women's clothes and hosiery. The men on this site appreciate stockings and the women who wear them. It is something we can not explain and to try would be futile. All we know is that from the time we matured into sexual beings, stockings have played a central role through the sense of touch, sight and sound.
